Too much of the culture focuses on pleasantries and glad-handing Oeople who focus entirely on being likable but get nothing accomplished get promoted but people who work hard and get a lot done get overlooked or even punished because they don't spend enough time on "happy talk".

The culture is quite excellent. Collegial, intellectually challenging, and progressive. Diversity could be improved, but Adobe is working hard at increasing diversity at the company and is doing well.
