For "scientist" positions, the interview process is more akin to an academic interview than a technology interview. The focus of questions tends to be about your past research rather than "gotcha" questions. The interview process starts with a phone interview with the Investigator. If you move on to an onsite interview, you'll be flown out for a full day interview at the institute. For the onsite interview, you should be prepared to present a talk on your recent research for the research group that the position is in, as well as anyone else at the Institute interested in attending. You'll also have a day full of 30-60 minute interviews with other team members, which are a great opportunity to learn about the different roles of the institute's "Team Science" approach. Expect plenty of room for you to ask questions about the position and interviewee's own research focus. PhDs should also expect a subsequent phone interview with the Chief Scientist if they are recommended for hiring.
