Best Friends Animal Society® is the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters.
To this end, Best Friends works with shelters, rescue groups and our members nationwide on a variety of grassroots programs. Working together, we’re building on a foundation of compassion and inclusion to help both pets and people. We’re making sure that everyone has the same access to loving pets and that every adoptable pet has access to the comfort of a foster home instead of a kennel in a shelter.
