Under the current CEOs leadership there is a high level of distrust and deception resulting in the “Survivor” game work place culture that is seen as a top down problem. Leadership improvement can only begin after he is gone at which time management and exec can begin to rebuild trust and culture.
It is an every man/department for themselves and I have found that collaboration and effective problem solving is a weak point. If we can find a way to move the culture in the direction of true teamwork and collaborative efforts then we would be more efficient and the product would be better quality
Yes, as a female, closing the gender pay gap would be a start in the right direction. It is far easier for a male employee to get a option increase, promotion and pay raise than for a female. We are fare more likely to be verbally complemented than to receive any actual comp increase.

I don’t say this lightly, but we have reached a point where we need a new CEO. The many of our executives and management have the ability and loyalty of the employees to enable leadership to drastically improve the culture, but they are greatly limited in their ability to do it because of our CEO.
