I feel pretty secure most of the year, except for the month of December. That's when the company decides which they're going to lay-off. It's not up to your supervisor or manager to decide who stays and who goes. It's a decision made by Corporate and handed-down to your manager through the chain of command.

no security. layoffs, which they call "redundencies" have no relation to performance and are done without any analysis of the amount of work and FTEs required.
