Sales above all else. Culture is very sales, new business driven, selling things we don't necessarily have or the skills to execute. Little effort to beef up our bench of skills or invest in operational efficiencies. Always a last minute scramble to meet the need when we sell something through, without much foresight, investment or planning. Management cheers us on as "the best" but in reality, we're pretty average.
Short term, sales driven. All about the lips - lipstick, lip service. Not much strong leadership, substance or follow through. Lots of talk. If you can craft a story and convince someone to buy into it, you are golden here. Everyone else fall in line or get annoyed leave.
