Having equity in the company I'm helping build
Once we hit our bonus increase there is no chance for a pay raise if you stay in the same position. This is part of the reason that turnover is so high.
Bonus and possible stock awards
Generally overworked. Leaders push too far and cut costs at the same time. Also, middle mgmt needs a facelift, you can't just rely on those managers to be good, you have to train them, no one is a natural-born middle manager...
