Yes but the process can be incredibly slow. There is a practically unlimited variety of opportunities to advance but you have to be proactive in seeling them out- HR does almost nothing with development and a lot of managers are too busy or don't know how to help you. The employee resource groups are amazing though and they offer a lot of programs in professional development and provide good networking.
