Everyone is first and foremost kind, and on top of that passionate about treating what they do as a craft.
They really do run a people-focused company, both in terms of how employees are regarded and how we maintain focus on clients' users when developing products.
It was more than 6 years ago so I can't remember much, but I do remember it was very code focused rather than theoretical which I appreciated as an engineer.
It's really a choose your own adventure with regards to what you want to work on and how you want to work on it. People are treated first and foremost as humans, not cogs in a machine.
It's very transparent as to how much money I bring in as an employee, how much of that I am paid, and how much of that goes to administrative costs etc. All the numbers are totally open for everyone in the company to see.
