
Fundamentally broken. Virtually everyone in the company is asked to submit statements about your work that are then anonymized and loosely groups. This happens annually. Of course this results in a huge amount of mixed responses and nitpicking. Your leadership with then take this mixed bag of noise and pick out whatever supports the issues that they have with you. And it all comes down to a High School style popularity contest that lifts up those that are good at politics and chips away at those that are not. There is very little evaluation about the actual skill, potential or contribution of people.
