The pay is not adequate for the area in which we live. It's hard to work happily when you aren't sure that bills will be paid on time (because of unexpected snow days).
We work the same hours and are incovienced just as much (if not more) than SLPs employed through the county; yet, we don't get paid for snow days & other unplanned closures. Timesheets are a hassle.My non-contract colleagues don't have to "prove" they worked with a supervisor's signature.
