Realty Income Corporation CEO John Case Bio
Mr. John P. Case has been the Chief Executive Officer at Realty Income Corporation since September 3, 2013 and served as its President since September 2014 until December 1, 2015. Previously, Mr. Case served as the Chief Investment Officer of Realty Income Corporation from 2010 to September 3, 2013 and Co-President from March 1, 2013 to September 3, 2013. He oversaw all of the Realty Income Corporation's investment activities, capital markets, finance and accounting, corporate communications and investor relations functions at the firm. Mr. Case served as Managing Director and Senior Client Manager at Bank of America Corporation. He served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Real Estate Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets Corporation since 2009. Mr. Case was a Co-Head of Americas real estate investment banking at UBS AG from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, he worked with Merrill Lynch & Co.'s (now BofA Merrill Lynch) real estate banking group for 15 years, where Mr. Case was a Managing Director from 2000 to 2004. He has been a Director at Realty Income Corporation since September 3, 2013. He has been extensively involved in the broader real estate industry. Mr. Case is an Associate on the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) Board of Governors. He served as a Director of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC) from 2001 to 2009. Mr. Case is a member of The Real Estate Roundtable, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He graduated from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, with a Masters in Business Administration in 1992 and Washington and Lee University in 1986, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
