Q&A With UW Medicine Employees

All across UW Medicine, our employees collaborate to perform the highest quality work with integrity and compassion and to create a respectful, welcoming environment where every patient, family, student and colleague is valued and honored.

How employees describe working at UW Medicine

Completely pointless meetings. Frequently. Mind numbing.

Very easy interview. Relaxed, and was informative.

Getting to care for patients.

To be brief: do not work here if you value patient care. University Administration and Management both do not truly value it because both prefer to be as hands off as possible and anytime something goes wrong they prefer covering it up and mooching up to the affected patient to actual prevention.

This public entity operates as though it were a private corporation built upon principles of greed and exploitation, rather than serving the public. Too many conflicts of interest to delineate and those who report matters are quickly dealt with. Do not recommend if you have any sense of ethics.
