Dr. Elizabeth Ijeoma Onyemelukwe Garner, M.D., M.P.H, has been the Chief Medical Officer of Agile Therapeutics, Inc. since January 6, 2014 and its Senior Vice President since January 2014. Most recently, Dr. Garner served as Vice President of Women's Health and Preventive Care at Myriad Genetics Laboratories and managed the women's health clinical research, publication and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development program, provided medical and scientific input to the company's marketing and new product strategies and served as the company's media spokesperson. Prior to joining Myriad Genetics, she was Senior Director at Abbott (now AbbVie) where she managed the global Phase III clinical development program in endometriosis. From 2007 to 2011, Dr. Garner served as Director, Vaccines Clinical Research at Merck Research Laboratories where she was a key clinical development leader for the human papillomavirus vaccine program and was instrumental in achieving successful outcomes on important supplemental submissions to the Food and Drug Administration. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Garner had several years of experience in academic clinical practice, research and teaching at Harvard Medical School. She received joint M.D. and M.P.H degrees from Harvard Medical School and the School of Public Health. Dr. Garner did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts General Hospitals, her subspecialty fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Brigham and Women's and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and received board certification in both general Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Garner is an author on numerous scientific papers published in peer-reviewed journals and has received many awards and honors over the course of her career.

Dr. James Patrick Tursi, also known as Jim, M.D., has been Chief Medical Officer of Aralez Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Pozen Inc.) since October 1, 2015. Dr. Tursi served as the Chief Medical Officer of Innocoll AG since March 18, 2015 until September 21, 2015. Dr. Tursi served as the Chief Medical Officer for Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc. from August 2011 to January 29, 2015 and was responsible for all clinical research and development, medical affairs and safety activities. He joined Auxilium in 2009 and served as Vice President of Clinical Research and Development until 2011. Previously, he was at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals from 2006 to 2009 and directed all medical affairs responsibilities for cervical cancer vaccines in North America and helped launch the product globally. He entered the pharmaceutical industry in 2004 serving as a Medical Director for Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, where he worked on in various therapeutic areas including female sexual dysfunction, overactive bladder and osteoporosis. He has been a Director of Agile Therapeutics, Inc. since October 1, 2014. He is a board certified OB/GYN and practiced medicine for over 10 years. He was the founder of the medical education company, I Will Pass(R) , which assisted Physicians in the process of board certification. Dr. Tursi received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his Residency Fellowship Training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
