Mr. Donald J. Walker, also known as Don, serves as the Managing Director of Arbor Partners. He was a Founding Partner of Arbor Partners in 1996. He co-founded Arbor Partners, LLC in 1997. Prior to founding Arbor Partners Mr. Walker served as a Vice President and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Comshare, Inc. from 1974 to 1996. During that time, he successfully directed the company through the well-publicized transitions from timesharing to mainframe software and then from mainframe to client/server software. Mr. Walker was a key player in the introduction of executive information systems. He was also instrumental in moving Comshare into vertical specialization by leading its thrust into decision support and supply chain management software for the retail industry. His successful integration of two acquisitions and his proven track record of partnering with other software companies enabled Comshare to increase market share while creating new barriers for the competition. He was a Venture Partner at Blue Chip Venture Company, Ltd. Mr. Walker joined Blue Chip Venture Company in 2006 in lieu of committing full time to the ten year investment cycle of a new fund. He served as an Executive Officer of Network Express, Inc. He serves as the Chairman of Bulbs.com, Inc. Mr. Walker serves on the Boards of Directors of Innovative IT Solutions and Sircon Corporation. He has been a Director at Intradiem, Inc, since 2000. Mr. Walker was a Board member of the Michigan Venture Capital Association. He is a former Board Member of the New Enterprise Forum. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of Resonant Venture Partners. He served on the Boards of Directors of Bluespring Software, CMS Technologies, and Cohesia. He has served as a Director of Knowlagent, Inc. since 2000. He is a private investor in several early stage and start-up companies. Mr. Walker has over 25 years of experience in high tech sales and marketing. Mr. Walker holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from St. Paul's College in Washington, DC and attended Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he studied Business.
