What are some of the best things about your team?
Professional, highly intelligent and passionate staff, who want to get the job done and done well, for the greater good, who perform really well despite the decrepit IT systems, processes and dysfunctional Senior Executive and toxic culture they pour down.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
A somewhat reasonable partial work-from-home policy, but not fairly applied to all.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The middle-layer leaders do their best to shield their teams from the toxicity and dysfunction pouring down from the Senior Executive, demonstrating incredible resilience, but eventually they're broken and leave, which means another restructure or period of even more workload until they're replaced.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
They claim they adhere to Australian Public Service standards for work levels, but in practice they promote people well above their level, and then blame them for failing to perform. More emphasis on core skills required to do the jobs and team fit.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Toxic culture defined by bullying, fraud, dysfunction, distrust, and hypocrisy, all demonstrated and condoned by the upper senior executive. Fix that, and allow the professional staff below to do their jobs.
