Avon Rubber PLC engages in protection and defence, material consultancy, fabrications and dairy businesses. The group operates through the protection and defence and dairy segments. Protection and defence segment produces chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear respiratory protection systems for the military. The Dairy segment develops and sells products and services used in the automated milking process. It sells products such as pulsators, milk meters, automatic cluster removers and milking clusters and has milkrite and interpuls brands. The group supplies industrial coated fabric goods and provides material consultancy which tests, analyses, develops and recycles rubber and other materials. Protection and defence segment comprises most of the revenues.
