When I was interviewing I was taken aback by how happy everyone was that worked here. Given it's an end of life company, I imagined it would be more somber. However, there is a mission here that provides deep meaning to the team. We help people leave a beautiful legacy for the earth and loved ones.

The team enjoys working together and makes each other laugh a lot. Yet, the team is also driven by our mission that is deeply meaningful and impactful.

The interviewers were very intentional in their questions. They have built a great culture and are mindful to bring people in that will help add to that culture.

The people are incredibly caring and respectful of one another. A lot of places make promises about the culture that they prove unable to live up to but Better Place Forests is making good on their promises.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that my work is going to make the world better through forest conservation and helping people have a better option for remembering those they have lost - and getting to do that work with a compassionate, collaborative and supportive team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is mission-driven, they have big hearts and bring their whole selves to work. We have the privilege of supporting people through a very tender time and intimate decisions and this team consistently brings the level of compassion and care needed to do it exceptionally well.
