Some employees were valued over others giving them the opinion that they can get away with being rude and threatening to fight others.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With the current work climate it is difficult to get a job, hence asking for a salary increase and risking your job if a deal isn't made is too stressful.
