Jim Simpson
CEO / President
Jim Simpson pioneered the standard for today’s natural gas supply and demand analytics, building the research group of BENTEK Energy prior to selling that business to S&P Global. Jim has over twenty years of experience analyzing and managing energy information and commodity risk in both the gas and power industries. He is now President and owner of East Daley Capital – an energy information and insights firm redefining how markets view risk for midstream and E&P companies. Simpson started his career at Enron where he modeled large structured transactions in both gas and power as well as traded natural gas. Jim has also held positions with MarkWest Hydrocarbon, Eprime and S&P Global Platts.
