It has been very positive. With every job there are some drawbacks, but at Ecolectro, it never feels like an absolute red flag. I love working with a great team who cares about one another.

It is very relaxed and I have a lot of input in what I do.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing the advancements I make as an individual cascade into success as a team. Putting all the brilliant minds and thoughts together to build an innovative product.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are very people focused. They tale into account that people have lives and may need accommodations. When problems arise, they do take them seriously and will work with you to find a solution.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are both joking and serious. I enjoy that I can joke around with coworkers and nerd out about non-work things. ON the flip side, when it comes to discussions about work and science, they are also very invested and serious about it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I realize this is a start up company, but I am making 10-15k less than others in my field at other companies. I think after the fundraising round there was talk of pay increases to match market values. Ithaca is an expensive city, and a cost of living adjustment would help.
