Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I realize this is a start up company, but I am making 10-15k less than others in my field at other companies. I think after the fundraising round there was talk of pay increases to match market values. Ithaca is an expensive city, and a cost of living adjustment would help.

Everyone is smart, humble, and easy going. We have a good culture of rapport and support internally, and we're interested in what others are working on.

They are both joking and serious. I enjoy that I can joke around with coworkers and nerd out about non-work things. ON the flip side, when it comes to discussions about work and science, they are also very invested and serious about it.

Coworkers, good environment, not feeling like I'll get fired everyday, supportive coworkers and managers, etc. I love being able to help my coworkers and have opportunities to be supported in taking initiative.
