Company Description
Holmen AB is a Swedish pulp, paper, and forest products manufacturing company. The company's offering is newsprint in white and color. The business is divided into five segments: Holemen Paper, Iggesun Paperboard, Holmen Timber, Holmen Skog, and Holmen Energi. The Holmen Paper segment offers wood-containing newsprint, printing, coated, directory, book, and magazine paper. Iggesun Paperboard produces fiber paperboard, bleached boards, plastic coated paperboards, folding boxboards, and sulphate pulp for packaging and graphic usage. The Holman Timber division provides timber for furniture makers, builders, and contractors. Holmen Skog manages the company's forests and allocates the raw supply of wood to the different segments. Holmen Energy operates and owns partially owns over 20 hydroelectric power stations across Sweden, Great Britain, and Spain. The Company also has customers in Japan, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Australia. It operates in Sweden, Great Britain, and Spain.
