Ideal Power Company Culture

Mr. Uwe Uhmeyer has been Vice President of Engineering at Ideal Power, Inc. since December 2014. Mr. Uhmeyer has over 15 years of experience in High Voltage and Power Conversion product development. Prior to joining Ideal power in December 2014, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Kaiser Systems, Inc (KSI) and after the 2012 purchase by Excelitas Technologies Corp., he managed the High Voltage Power (HVP) supply business unit within Excelitas. He was Vice President of Engineering at Universal Voltronics Corp, another High Voltage company. He has lead and directed the development of power supply systems ranging to 80 kW and 750 kV integrated into X-ray, E-beam and aesthetic laser systems. Mr. Uhmeyer was a key contributor to LeCroy Corporation's growth in high speed data acquisition systems and digital storage oscilloscopes, rising to the position of Director of Engineering. Over his career he has demonstrated the ability to build strong engineering teams, develop engineering and business processes all of which facilitated business growth. Mr. Uhmeyer received dual bachelor degrees from Syracuse University in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and later earned an MBA from the University of New Haven.

Mr. Timothy W. Burns, also known as Tim, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer of Ideal Power Inc. since October 21, 2013 and as its Secretary and Treasurer since November 18, 2013. Mr. Burns served as the Chief Financial Officer at Rainmaker Systems Inc. from November 4, 2011 to January 24, 2013 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Secretary until January 24, 2013; Interim Chief Executive Officer and President since October 2012; Acting Chief Financial Officer from April 20, 2011 to November 4, 2011; Corporate Controller since November 2010. He has over twelve years of finance and accounting experience and joined Rainmaker in November 2010. Mr. Burns spent nine years at Dean Foods Company where he served as the Director of Corporate Accounting from March 2008 to November 2010, Assistant Controller from February 2007 to February 2008 and SEC Reporting Manager from March 2006 to January 2007. Mr. Burns served as Senior Financial Analyst of Dean Foods Company since 2003. Mr. Burns began with Dean Foods Company as a Financial Analyst. From 1998 to 2001, he was employed by Deloitte & Touche, LLP as an auditor. He is a public accountant certified in Texas. He has a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.

Ed Roseberry serves as the VP Sales of Ideal Power Inc.. Ed started at Ideal Power Inc. in June of 2017. Ed is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Tim Burns serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Ideal Power Inc.. Tim started at Ideal Power Inc. in October of 2013. Tim is currently based in the Austin, Texas Area.
