Janison – It was really great, then the new CEO started and he destroyed the best parts of the flexible culture Jansions had. Hired in a bunch of yes men/women so he would only hear exactly what he wants to hear. Now it is not so great. If your not in Sydney and new then you are "prejudice" according to him. | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

Willingness to help. Sense of humour.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Team leader is fantastic, the team is fun.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Flexibility, but the new CEO has decided that this is no longer good for the company and forcing office based work to justify and over priced office space in Sydney.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Stop patting yourself on the back for things you did not achieve. Start respecting long time employees. They are the real asset and dropping like flies. We are a house of cards and your allowing the bottom layer to be pulled out while making the rest top heavy with to many new exec/"head of" hires.

What makes you most happy at work?

Learning new things to solve complicated problems. This never happens at Janison. All we ever do is fix technical debt from years and years of shortcuts. We have a new goal now that gives people the right to take shortcuts as long as they "Own it, and get it done." Quality is not important.
