Mr. Terry A. Hart has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Kayne Anderson MLP Investment Company and Kayne Anderson Energy Total Return Fund since December 26, 2005 and also serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. He has been the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Kayne Anderson Midstream/Energy Fund, Inc. and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. He has been the Chief Financial Officer of Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company since December 2005 and serves as its Treasurer and Director. He has been Chief Financial Officer at Kayne Anderson Acquisition Corp since December 12, 2016. He served as Senior Vice President, Controller, Assistant Treasurer, and Director of Structured Finance at Dynegy Energy Partners L.P. He serves as Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer at Kayne Anderson Canadian Energy Income Fund, Inc and Kayne Anderson Energy/Infrastructure Fund, Inc. He served as a Managing Director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. Mr. Hart was responsible for the oversight of accounting and financial reporting. Mr. Hart joined Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P in 2005. Mr. Hart served as the Senior Vice President and Controller at Dynegy, Inc from May 2004 to December 2005 and served as the Principal Accounting Officer until December 2005. He served as an Assistant Treasurer and Director of Structured Finance. He began his finance and accounting career in 1992 at Illinova Corporation, which was acquired by Dynegy, Inc. in 2000. Prior to Dynegy Inc., Mr. Hart served as a Project Finance Manager and Accounting Manager for Illinova Generating Company from May 1995 to January 2000. Additionally, he served as the Division Controller for Illinova Business Development Group and held various accounting positions at Illinois Power Company. While with Illinova, He held several positions of increasing responsibility in finance and accounting. Mr. Hart earned a B.S. in Accounting from the Southern Illinois University in 1991 and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1999.
