What did you like most about the interview process?

Great interview, a worthwhile capability test and conversations with a few different people instead of just one. Expectations set at interview process do not match the reality once you have started.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The best thing about Lucid, like many places, are the people. This is changing as people leave, but generally in this industry you get to work with brilliant, supportive and clever colleagues.

What makes you most happy at work?

Some of the work we deliver is spectacular, and the people who contribute to it are too. If only we could have more time to celebrate and enjoy our spectacular work, and those people stayed around longer!

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Pay and benefits are competitive, not top of the market (which they need to be to try and compensate the environment and pressure) and certainly for writers, client services and creative there are better paid roles out there.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Refreshed leadership, clarity on the direction of travel and what the priorities are for growth and enjoyable, valuable work. More autonomy for everyone, trusting the experts to make the right decisions. Increased transparency and improved quality of communication at all levels.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

I believe the time has come for the senior leadership team to be replaced, they have made too many mistakes and nobody trusts them any more. Now we have new investors, many of us employees 'on the ground' hope that they will replace the CEO.
