MCOT operates about Channel 9 television station, which is broadcast in over 625-line colour and transmitted from its main station in Bangkok to over 35 regional network stations in order to provide service coverage throughout Thailand. The company has seven business segments including Television Services, Radio Services, News Services, Engineering Services, New Media Services, Joint Operation Agreements and Other Services. MCOT has seven telecommunication licenses. The company generates the majority of revenue by advertising from television and radio broadcasting and from airtime rental upon the broadcasting of such programmes.
