What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Decentralisation of decision making and budgets, dramatic overhaul in accountabilities, empowerment at middle management level (currently there is none), fill in missing managerial levels, quit running on empty!
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Communication, knowledge and basic presentation skills. Leadership should initiate corporate training programs for technical staff, who are typically left to their own devices.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Mubadala employs many senior staff on annual third party contracts with day rates paid to 3rd party service companies, thus avoiding the responsibility of paying proper staff benefits.
