This was the first time an interview process actually felt like a conversation. We were both genuinely trying to get to know eachother.
The people I work with. How happy parents and educators are with the product. The impact we're having on kids. and how critical and high impact all of my work is
Everyone is so smart and so willing to listen to your ideas or lend a hand. I would hang out with every single person outside of work. I can't say that for any other place I've worked.
The best part about the comp package was the transparency in why I was given the offer I was given. I trust the company to pay what is fair and they are genuinely working towards getting every to market rate and beyond.
Working with the executive team it is very clear that they have done this before and know what they're doing -- BUT they still know how to get input and build on ideas (and come from a place of yes). What more could you ask for.
There are times you need to work longer hours, but your manager and the executive team are there making sure you take care of yourself and don't get burned out. My manager and I check in on each other every week to make sure we're working out which is amazing.
