Dr. Martin Handfield, M.Sc., Ph.D. serves as Senior Vice President of Discovery Research at Oragenics Inc. since January 1, 2015. Dr. Handfield co-founded iviGene Corporation. He served as a Vice President of Research & Development at Oragenics Inc. from January 2009 to January 1, 2015. Dr. Handfield served as Director of Research & Development of Oragenics Inc., since January 2009 and also served as its Vice President of Research. He is a co-inventor of IVIAT and the A.a. and P.g. technology. He serves as Director of EpiCure Solutions Corporation (Florida). Dr. Handfield serves on the iviGene Scientific Advisory Board. He served as member of Scientific Advisory Board of GeneEx, Inc. He serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He served as faculty member at the Center for Molecular Microbiology and Department of Oral Biology, University of Florida. He is a distinguished young researcher with a number of honors and awards, including a Ph.D. Scholar Award from the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He has published several scientific papers and reviews and his laboratory is funded by three National Institutes of Health Grants. Dr. Handfield received his B.Sc. (Biochemistry), M.Sc. (Microbiology) and Ph.D. (Molecular Pathogenesis) at Laval University (Canada).

Mr. Michael O. Sullivan, also known as Mike, CPA has been the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Oragenics Inc. since February 06, 2012. Mr. Sullivan served as an Interim Principal Executive Officer of Oragenics Inc. from October 30, 2014 to June 6, 2016. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of UTEK Corporation (now Innovaro, Inc.) from April 2, 2002 to March 21, 2003. He served as the Group Financial Officer for the Investigative Services and Litigation Consulting Services segment of First Advantage Corporation. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Omega Insurance Services Inc. Prior to Utek Corp., he served as Chief Financial Officer of eAngler Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of HSN Direct International Ltd. Mr. Sullivan began his accounting career with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Sullivan received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from the Florida State University.

Dr. Guojun Nie, also known as Shawn, Ph.D., has been Director of Process Development at Oragenics Inc. since September 2014. Dr. Nie joined Oragenics with extensive industrial experience in the preclinical, clinical and late stage manufacturing activities at large CMOs (global reach) and clinical manufacturing for GMP production, including process design and development, improvement and optimization strategies, downstream development, scale-up, and technology transfer. Prior to joining Oragenics, Dr. Nie was Senior Scientist of Process Development at Caliber Biotherapeutics. Prior to that, Dr. Nie held various positions in product development at GenVec Inc., Human Genome Sciences, Inc. and Baxter International, Inc.

Dr. Raman Bedi is the Founder of Taragenyx Limited and serves as its Chairman and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Bedi has been Senior Consultant of Oragenics Inc. since January 2006. Dr. Bedi serves as Chairman of International Scientific Advisory Board at Oragenics Inc. Dr. Bedi became the 8th Chief Dental Officer for England in 2002, following a distinguished academic career and having been awarded the Foundation chair in Transcultural Oral Health at University College London (1996-2002). Dr. Bedi retired from the post of Chief Dental Officer in October 2005 and is returning to his chair at Kings College London. He has published over 185 scientific papers and authored four books. Dr. Bedi is the past President of the British Society for Disability and Oral Health (2002), Past President of the Education Research Group of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)(2002-2004) and past chair of the IADR Regional Development Program Committee (2002-2004). He was a member of the NHS Top team (2002-2005) and Founder member of the National Health and Social care leadership network (2004-2005). In Higher Education, he is a Board member of the Higher Education Funding Council strategic committee on wider participation and Board member of the HE Leadership Foundation. In 2003, Dr. Bedi received the Asian Guild award and, in 2004, the Asian Jewel award. In 2005, he was awarded the USA Public Health service medal.

Marty Handfield serves as the Senior Vice President, Research of Oragenics, Inc. Marty started at Oragenics, Inc in Jan of 2015. Marty currently resides in the Gainesville, Florida Area.

Mike Sullivan serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Oragenics, Inc. Mike started at Oragenics, Inc in Feb of 2012. Mike currently resides in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area.
