The recruiter (an outside recruiter) was in my corner and the only reason I got my foot in the door.

Those who listen to the boots on the ground and facilitate the things they need to ensure the job gets done in the best way possible.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am an APP. I practice at the top of my scope, doing the exact same tasks as my physician counterparts, yet I am paid 1/4 what they are and often less than nurses I am working alongside, despite often dictating the plan of care independently.
