Mr. Robert W. Ovitz, also known as Bob, has been Chief Operating Officer of Rex Energy Corporation since July 2015. Mr. Ovitz served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Rex Energy Corporation from 2014 to July 2015. Mr. Ovitz joined Rex Energy in December 2014 with over 30 years of extensive technical experience, as well as experience leading and managing business organizations and project teams within the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Mr. Ovitz served as a Senior Operations Manager for Noble Energy's Appalachian Basin Unit and he held a similar position with Noble overseeing their Rockies and Mid-Continent Divisions in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Ovitz has served as board member for both the Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) and the West Virginia Oil & Natural Gas Association (WVONGA) and also served as an Extensive Board Member for the MSC. Mr. Ovitz has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College. He also received a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Denver.

Mr. Thomas G. Rajan has been the Chief Financial Officer at Rex Energy Corporation since February 1, 2015. Mr. Rajan is Managing Partner of High View Energy LLC. He served as Managing Director of KeyBanc Capital Markets in Dallas, where he spent eight years in investment and corporate banking roles, ultimately leading the Oil & Gas Investment Banking and Corporate Banking practices. He served as Head of Oil & Gas Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. since 2010. While at KeyBanc, Mr. Rajan was instrumental in assisting Rex Energy in Rex Energy's IPO and equity raising transactions and he has advised Rex's management on a number of strategic acquisition and divestiture projects since 2006. Prior to his time at KeyBanc, Mr. Rajan spent several years in corporate finance roles with Comerica Bank, Cross Timbers Oil Company and JP Morgan Chase.

Mr. David E. Pratt has been Exploration Manager of Rex Energy Corporation since April 2008 and its Senior Vice President since October 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Pratt served as a geologist forthe New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Bureau of Oiland Gas Regulation beginning in November 1999. From December 1990 to February 1999, Mr. Pratt was a regional exploration and developmentgeologist for Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation working in its Appalachian Basinoperations. From 1984 to 1990, Mr. Pratt served as an exploration and development geologist for Ultramar Oil and Gas Ltd. working in the Permian Basin, the Gulf Coast region and the Rocky Mountains region. During the period of 1978 to 1984, Mr. Pratt worked as a geologist for Enstar Corporation, Ensource Corporation, Sohio Petroleum and Texaco. Mr. Pratt leads Rex's exploration, geological and geophysical activities from Rex Energy's corporate headquarters located in State College, Pennsylvania. He has over 30 years experience as a Senior Geologist working on projects located throughout the United States. Mr. Pratt's most recent private exploration and development experience includes almost nine years with Cabot Oil and Gas working in the Appalachian Basin. His specific work included the Oriskany, Knox, Onondaga and Trenton-Black River plays, as well as the Devonian Shale and Devonian/Carboniferous sandstone in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. Pratt also gained substantial working knowledge in the Appalachian Front of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Tennessee. Prior to his Cabot Oil and Gas work, he gained extensive experience with Texaco in West Texas; Sohio Petroleum in Colorado, Nevada and Utah; Ensource and Enstar in the western U.S.; and Ultramar in Texas and the Rocky Mountain areas. Mr. Pratt obtained his B.S. degree in Geology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, NY and earned an M.A. degree in Geology from Rice University in Houston.
