TerraForm Power Company Culture

Ms. Valerie Hannah has been Chief Operating Officer at TerraForm Power, Inc. since October 16, 2017. Ms. Hannah is responsible for all operations, power marketing and regulatory affairs of TerraForm. She also oversees human resources and information technology. She has deep operating expertise having held a number of leadership positions at Brookfield Renewable, where she helped the company achieve a track record of driving value through growth initiatives, increasing cash flows and mitigating risks. Prior to this, Ms. Hannah served as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Integrations at Brookfield Renewable with a focus on TerraForm Power. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer, North America at Brookfield Renewable where she was responsible for all capital markets activities including accounting, financial reporting, treasury and taxation in North America. Ms. Hannah holds a Graduate Diploma from McGill University (Quebec, Canada) and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Matthew E. Berger, also known as Matt, has been Chief Financial Officer of TerraForm Power, Inc. since October 16, 2017. Mr. Berger served as Chief Financial Officer of North America at IDI Gazeley Brookfield Logistic Properties since March 2015 until November 15, 2017. He joined Brookfield in 2013 and served in Brookfield Property Group as Executive Vice-President. Mr. Berger served as the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, Director of Finance and International Finance Director of OM Asset Management Limited/OM Asset Management plc (formerly, Old Mutual Asset Management). Mr. Berger was responsible for all financial, management reporting, accounting, tax and treasury functions for Old Mutual Asset Management. He served as International Finance Director of US Asset Management, Chief Financial Officer of US Asset Management and Senior Vice President of US Asset Management at Old Mutual plc. He joined IDI Gazeley from Brookfield Renewable Energy Group where he worked as Head of Capital Markets. Mr. Berger joined Old Mutual in early 2002 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in finance, including a year-long assignment at Old Mutual plc in London as the Head of Group Planning and Analysis. He spent 7 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing auditing and management consultant services with a focus on the investment management industry. He held various posts including Chief Financial Officer and Strategic Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer, leading their efforts to take the business public. Mr. Berger has an M.B.A. with honors in Finance from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and a B.B.A with honors in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
