Mission Statement

The Urban Assembly is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth by providing them with the academic and life skills necessary for postsecondary success. We create and support unique, small public schools that are open to all students, scale up promising programs, and partner with hundreds of organizations in the private, public, non-profit and higher education sectors. Our goal is to prepare 100% of our graduates for success in the 21st century economy through rigorous college preparation and cutting-edge career and technical education.
