Walkers Shortbread Mission, Vision & Values
Mission Statement
Walkers products are now sold all over the world. Though increased demand means that we've had to modernise our equipment, we still use the same wonderfully simple recipe that Joseph would recognise were he to visit our bakery tomorrow. It is only by baking in small batches that we can ensure that classic taste for which Walkers are famed. As it always has been, our shortbread is made using only four ingredients: flour, pure creamery butter, sugar and salt. We are proud to say that our products contain absolutely no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives.
Vision Statement
Our traditionally baked oatcakes are made almost entirely from either coarse or fine-grained oats to give them that characteristically nutty flavour and firm bite. Joe Walker and Jim WalkerAnother popular treat, Walkers Scottish fruitcakes, are prepared with the care and attention needed to create their wonderfully rich crumb filled with fruits, spices and nuts
