Mr. Robert M. Mahoney, also known as Bob, serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts) and Belmont Savings Bank. Prior to joining Belmont Savings Bank in May, 2010, Mr. Mahoney served as an Executive Vice Chairman of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) until retiring in 2008. He joined CFG in 1993 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bank of Massachusetts after serving 22 years in various domestic and international management positions at Bank of Boston. During his five years as President of Citizens in Massachusetts, Mr. Mahoney led the new bank through significant expansion. From 1999 to 2003, he was responsible for CFG's Risk Management including Credit, Compliance and Operational Risk areas. In 2004, Mr. Mahoney led all of the Retail and Commercial Banking activity in New England and later he took over responsibility for Commercial Banking across the company. He has held several community leadership positions in Massachusetts. He is the Past Chairman of the United Way Board of Directors and Executive Committee and serves on the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation board. He is also a co-founder of Community Gems, a collaboration of non-profit agencies that work together with community partners to meet the diverse needs of Greater Boston's youth and families. He served as a board member of the Sitel Worldwide Corporation until September 18, 2015. He has been a Director of BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts) since 2010. He serves as Director of International Data Group. Mr. Mahoney is also Chair of the Financial Services Committee of the Finance Council of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. He received the 1996 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Massachusetts, the 2006 Columbia University, School of Business Leadership Award and is the recipient of the 2009 Henry L. Shattuck Boston City Champion Award for public service. He is a Member of Advisory Board of neoSaej Corp. Recently, Mr. Mahoney was selected by Boston Business Journal readers as the Most-Admired CEO of a small or mid-sized company in Massachusetts. Mr. Mahoney received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 1971. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.

Mr. John A. Citrano serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer, Executive Vice President, Corporate Secretary at BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts) and has been its and Treasurer since 1994. Mr. Citrano has been the Chief Financial Officer of Belmont Savings Bank since 2000 and its Executive Vice President since 2012. Mr. Citrano has been with Belmont Savings Bank since 1987. He began his career with Belmont Savings Bank as an Internal Auditor. He is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Watertown/Belmont Chamber of commerce, the Treasurer of the A.D. Little Toastmasters Club and a Member of the Financial Managers Society. Mr. Citrano is a graduate of both Merrimack College and Bentley College.

Mr. Christopher Y. Downs, also known as Chris, serves as an Executive Vice President of Consumer Lending of Belmont Savings Bank and BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts). Mr. Downs joined Belmont Savings Bank on July 7, 2010. Mr. Downs leads Belmont Savings' consumer lending business, which includes loans for autos and small businesses. He served as Group Executive Vice President of Consumer Finance Division of RBS Citizens, N.A. He was responsible for all consumer finance activities that support the entire Citizens organization. He served as Group Executive Vice President of Consumer Lending Services at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. He served for 12 years at Chase Manhattan Corporation. Mr. Downs is a graduate of Middlebury College and received his MBA from University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and Economics.

Mr. Carroll M. Lowenstein, Jr., serves as an Executive Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending at Belmont Savings Bank and BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts). Mr. Lowenstein served as Senior Vice President at BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Maryland). Prior to joining Belmont Savings Bank in September 2010, he held similar roles at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (seven years) managing the Suburban Massachusetts Team of Commercial Real Estate Lenders and Portfolio Managers and Cambridgeport Bank (fifteen years) as Director of Commercial Lending. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lowenstein served as the Commercial Credit Manager and Commercial Loan Operations Manager at USTrust/Essex. He is a graduate of Harvard College and is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Mr. Hal R. Tovin serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts) and at its subsidiary Belmont Savings Bank. Mr. Tovin is responsible for the bank's Retail, Small Business activities and oversee the bank's Deposit Operations and Technology. He also lead all Marketing and Public Relations initiatives on behalf of the Bank. He served as Group Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Retail Partnership Delivery Group at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (Providence, RI), a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc. He was responsible for executive leadership and strategic oversight of the non-traditional retail branch delivery program at Citizens Financial Group and this includes direct management of the in-store banking franchise across the 13-state Citizens Bank-Charter One footprint, as well as the development of new strategic non-traditional branching and marketing programs for future growth. Mr. Tovin served as Group Executive Vice President of CFG Business Banking and New England Retail at RBS Citizens, N.A. He served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Group Executive Vice President of Emerging Channels of RBS Citizens, N.A. He served as Head of Citizens e-Business in which he developed a full internet business strategy for bank and run those ventures since December 1999. He joined Citizens Bank in 1995 as head of company-wide marketing. Prior to joining Citizens Bank, he ran Shawmut National Corporation's company-wide marketing effort. His prior marketing and advertising experience included IBM, General Mills, Marketing Corporation of America and Tambrands. Mr. Tovin has been the Chairman of Citizens Mortgage Corporation since July 2003. He has been a Director of BSB Bancorp, Inc. (Massachusetts) since 2010. He serves as a Director of Citizens Mortgage Corporation. He served as a Director of Perfect Commerce, Inc. He is a Trustee and Chairman of the marketing committee and a member of the finance committee at the Boston Museum of Science. He was Chairman of the Board at the Boston Ad Club. He is also a Board Member of Peace Games. He held board positions with the United Way of Hartford and the Jewish Federation of Rhode Island. Mr. Tovin is a graduate of Brown University and has an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business.
