How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at DST Systems?
I interviewed when the company was still BFDS. The interview process was a lot easier than it is now. Prospective employees have to jump through way too many hoops.

What's the interview process like at DST Systems?
Each hiring manager is different. Initial screening goes through a centralized recruiting team in HR. After that, each hiring manager does something different. I have everyone from the receiving team interview a candidate and make a group decision. This helps ensure a culture fit and increased buy-in for the decision. I also ask mostly cultural and fundamental distributed systems questions. For new grads, I'll normally have to dig deeper into their technical abilities.
