What's the interview process like at DST Systems?
Each hiring manager is different. Initial screening goes through a centralized recruiting team in HR. After that, each hiring manager does something different. I have everyone from the receiving team interview a candidate and make a group decision. This helps ensure a culture fit and increased buy-in for the decision. I also ask mostly cultural and fundamental distributed systems questions. For new grads, I'll normally have to dig deeper into their technical abilities.
