Appreciating employees - there is little to no recognition and pay is getting worse and new equity model is terrible and leaves no real long term incentives. We don't have big parties or anything fun anymore either. But they're also not great at prioritizing and scaling the business

Communication, stop hiding things and pretending they don't know.

People at higher levels than team leads asking for calls to see how we get on, totally irrelevant and fake.I don't want to be made to say my pronouns before every interaction, it's irrelevant, I respect different people might want to use different pronouns, but that's them, not everyone.

Communicating the same message down through their orgs.

They need to have more influence, get rid of middle-management, or give them the opportunity to actually manage instead of doing other tasks. Just showing support without having the influence and acting on it is not helpful.

Salary is ok there's is a lacking of paying annual bonus

More money, a different structure (like a bonus), and something better than options.

I was lied to about my equity compensation and no one will take accountability or make it right despite my repeated attempts. Being made whole, and accountability for the people who lied and refuse to take accountability, would make me feel better

A very clear roadmap of clear career progressions along with corresponding compensation increases. It feels like the work is repetitive and and it's hard to feel motivated to continue a repetitive job without a clear goal to work towards such as defined compensation increases or promotions.

I'm don't feel undervalued. I entered as a mid frontend developer, and it was fare, but I'm seeing my colleagues enter with the same level as me and need help to code and still lots to learn that for the position it should be assumed to have. But yeah as MID I think the salary should be more higher

Too much isolation and silos. Nothing to include remote workers or make them feel part of the company despite being 50% of all employees

They should come more prepared to meetings. They should bring agendas and ideas.

Teamwork should be encouraged more, if leadership could lead by example.

Sometimes people seemed closed off or very much to themselves. And there isn't a ton of community on my specific team, and I'm positioned in an unclear manner on the product vertical I support, so it's made developing working relationships a little tricky.

I'd start by seriously reviewing the company's stance regarding WFH. Employees lost free lunches, breakfast, snacks, drinks and we have to battle to obtain somewhat decent hardware to do our work in safe conditions. I believe that good posture is part of "safe conditions".

Rewards and compensation need a huge revamp first. Teams need to be given clarity over what outcomes matter and then given autonomy to make it happen, and the Empowered team model is not an answer for that. Culture needs to emphasize hustle and delivery, not bureaucracy and work / life balance.

That I got to meet people I'll be working with daily, not just the recruitment team

Interviewers asked similar questions and told me they wouldn't be talking to each other in between, so I could be telling similar anecdotes to all three.

Meeting the people I'd work directly with.

I met with members of different teams that allowed them to get to know me early on and share pain points that I'd have to combat once I joined. The transparency was key early on.

the people were wonderful and gave me a sense of the type of the qualities the company values.

Generally very repetitive. Most days are almost the exact same. Having more responsibilities would for sure help.

New hires need more time spent to see how tenure agents work, not weeks and hours of theory, that at the end we barely know how to apply. Also, in terms of benefits, more inclusive with working mothers, like reduced hours or flexible schedule.

This would help: More flexibility, better Workforce Management for schedules, so changes within the day would not be needed, Less pace as there are too many mistakes being made, and seeing other colleagues taking shortcuts. No 100% chat days, no double chats as this is recipe for mistakes.
