Well, I work at obtaining certificates to improve my knowledge and I would like to be awarded for this that do go above and beyond the rest of the teams. I think it helps the company when we take our own time and resources to improve our knowledge in our career areas.

The frim uses it ERG to give the imoression that they are inclusive, Black and Latinx, employees, are promoted and paid less thsn their white counteroarts. The firm is not transparent about compensation. The lack of mentorship and sponsirship for employees makes minority employees feel undervalued

I moved from a billable to a support position within the firm, recognition is definitely less visible than for Consultants/KT, and making cases for compensation increase or promotions is much harder than in billable roles.
