Mr. Jerrell W. Shelton, also known as Jerry, has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of CryoPort, Inc. since November 5, 2012 and has been its Chairman of the Board since October 2015. Mr. Shelton serves as Advisor to Medley Capital LLC. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wellness, Inc. from June 2004 to May 2006. From November 2000 to June 2004, he served as visiting executive, Chief Executive Officer and Advisory Director for the Research Division of IBM's WebFountain. He has over thirty years of executive and corporate governance experience across several industries, including information services, telecommunications, manufacturing and distribution. From November 1999 to August 2002, he consulted for several start-up companies, including Heart Center Online Inc., Pet Quarters Inc., Optical Processing and Technology Systems Inc., Telleo Inc. and CRE Technologies Inc. Prior to that, He worked with investment companies specializing in leveraged buyouts and served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of NDC Holdings II Inc. from October 1998 to October 1999 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Graphics Holdings Inc. from October 1996 to July 1998. From October 1991 to July 1996, He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Thomson Business Information Group. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Companies. He has been a Director of CryoPort, Inc. since October 22, 2012. He serves on the Smithsonian Institution Library Board. He served as a Director of Netratings Inc. from March 2004 to June 22, 2007. He served as a Director of Solera Holdings Inc. from May 16, 2007 to November 10, 2011. He serves as a Member of Executive Advisory Board of Healthcentersonline Inc. He has served on the boards of several public companies, including Advantage Companies and Tennessee Natural Resources. During his career he has also served on the boards of 25 private companies and 7 civic organizations. Mr. Shelton holds a BSBA degree from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
