What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the IT department at Geek Squad?
Geek Squad is first and foremost, a sales position. They will ask if you are comfortable learning new technology and pairing clients with a full solution. You are there to sell the services first and foremost, they'll train you how to click the buttons on the software later.
How does Geek Squad make decisions around promotions?
They pick whoever their friend is, networking is key and your ability to perform is secondary. Friends promote friends and then they lay off an entire US work force.
