My team used to very collaborative and fun, but my boss quit and the replacement person was pretty incompetent and a strong pushover. He doesn’t set clear goals for the team so I feel like we are always jumping around to different projects without closing anythin

There are different layout styles based upon location. The cubicle layout is popular, but in Vermont, it's old style offices.
