Mr. Daniel Mindus, also known as Dan, is the Managing Partner and Founder at NextGen Venture Partners. Previously, Mr. Mindus was an Investment Director at CIT GAP Funds. He has also served as Vice President at New Vantage Group, an early-stage investing firm in Washington, DC. Mr. Mindus led initial company screening, due diligence, and deal structuring. He managed more than 20 private equity investments across multiple angel investing groups in the Washington, DC area. Prior to the this, Mr. Mindus did stints at two consumer Internet startups, and in public policy, where his work was featured in The New York Times, The Financial Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The BBC, Good Morning America, CNBC, and many other media outlets. He started his career at the Gerson Lehrman Group, an investment research firm in New York City. Mr. Mindus has been included twice on Washingtonian magazine's list of 100 DC Tech Titans. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale.

Mr. Brett C. Gibson is a Managing Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, he was in corporate development at LivingSocial, a venture-backed ecommerce firm. Mr. Gibson was also an Analyst at The Carlyle Group. He was based at the firm's office in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gibson was a Senior Associate with Deloitte and Touche.
