Mr. Brian Vahaly serves as the Chief Operating Officer at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, Mr. Vahaly was the Chief Operating Officer at Venturehouse Group. He has held several Chief Operating Officer roles for Venture Capital funds. He is a former professional tennis player, and was top 100 on the ATP tour. Mr. Vahaly holds a BS in Finance from the University of Virginia.

Ms. Jess Carson is a Director at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, Ms. Carson directed a social innovation start-up where she focused on engagement, strategy, and partnerships. Previously, she was a Neuroscience Fellow at the NIH where she conducted neuroimaging research on humans and primates. Ms. Carson graduated Summa Cum Laude from The George Washington University with a degree in Neuroscience.

Mr. Nate Houghton is a Director at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, Mr. Houghton founded a technology startup in the retail real estate space. He is currently on a leave of absence from Harvard Business School and holds a BS with honors from Cornell University.

Mr. Chris Keller is a Managing Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, Mr. Keller was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FollowUp.cc, an email productivity service acquired by Argon Technologies. He co-founded Fafarazzi, the world's first online fantasy entertainment league and also ran the Labs division at HubSpot. Mr. Keller has been an active angel investor and supporter of the Boston startup ecosystem.

Mr. Daniel Mindus, also known as Dan, is the Managing Partner and Founder at NextGen Venture Partners. Previously, Mr. Mindus was an Investment Director at CIT GAP Funds. He has also served as Vice President at New Vantage Group, an early-stage investing firm in Washington, DC. Mr. Mindus led initial company screening, due diligence, and deal structuring. He managed more than 20 private equity investments across multiple angel investing groups in the Washington, DC area. Prior to the this, Mr. Mindus did stints at two consumer Internet startups, and in public policy, where his work was featured in The New York Times, The Financial Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The BBC, Good Morning America, CNBC, and many other media outlets. He started his career at the Gerson Lehrman Group, an investment research firm in New York City. Mr. Mindus has been included twice on Washingtonian magazine's list of 100 DC Tech Titans. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Yale.

Mr. Brett C. Gibson is a Managing Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, he was in corporate development at LivingSocial, a venture-backed ecommerce firm. Mr. Gibson was also an Analyst at The Carlyle Group. He was based at the firm's office in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gibson was a Senior Associate with Deloitte and Touche. Mr. Gibson has extensive background in investing and acquisitions. He currently serves in the Army National Guard and he is qualified as a U.S. Army Ranger. Mr. Gibson is graduate of the Harvard Business School and has received a B.S. in Finance and American Politics from the University of Virginia.

Mr. Jon Bassett is a Managing Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Prior to NextGen, he served as a Principal and an Investment Professional of Silverton Partners, an Austin-based fund where he led deal-sourcing and due diligence. Prior to joining Silverton in 2014, Mr. Bassett worked at Draper Fisher Jurvetson Frontier, where he focused on seed and early stage investments in technology, software and media. Mr. Bassett has an extensive background in public equity finance and early-stage investing. He started his career at Dell where he gained sales and operational experience working with inside sales teams and has since co-founded several startups including a long-short equities hedge fund. Mr. Bassett also served as an Instructor at USC Marshall School of Business. He received a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College.

Mr. Brandon Berger serves as Chief Digital Officer of Worldwide at Ogilvy & Mather SAS. Mr. Berger serves as the Chief Digital Officer for Worldwide at Ogilvy & Mather Inc. He also serves as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. He served as the Chief Digital Officer of Ogilvy & Mather SAS since December 2010. Mr. Berger served as Vice President of Digital Innovation of MDC Partners and was responsible for digital investments, acquisitions and partnerships for the network. He served at holding company of MDC Partners. Mr. Berger has been a Director of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Inc. since February 12, 2013. He serves as a Director of Liquid Commerce Inc. Mr. Berger serves as a Director of Ogilvy & Mather Inc. He served as a Member of Advisory Council at Shift Labs, Inc. Mr. Berger is a frequent industry expert in the press and conferences. He is interviewed on Bloomberg and in the New York Times, CES, E3, Adtech, Internet Week and Social Media Week and was recognized by Adweek as one of the Young Influentials: 20 under 40 Changing the World. Mr. Berger's professional awards include a Clio, Cannes Lion and Demo Mobile Demo God.
