My fellow workers are what makes Powell's the fun bookstore to visit, with their knowledge and enthusiasm for books, and welcoming atmosphere. The management is disconnected from the workforce and could do so much more with regard to worker support and communication. Managers at the store & warehouse level are wonderful. When it comes to the CEO & their team, it’s clear they don’t respect or care for anyone in the store/warehouse- regardless of union status.
