Déclaration de mission

I would like to welcome all athletes, coaches, administration, and families to the 2013 Track and Field season. This team has the capabilities of being the best track and field team that has ever been assembled at West Valley High School. Through hard work, dedication and perseverance, both in the classroom and on the track, this can be accomplished. Remember, practice doesn’t make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. Our goal has the West Valley Track and Field Team is to produce well-mannered well coached student athletes. This can only be accomplished through team work, both amongst the athletes themselves, but also with the coaches, school staff and most importantly the parents. The students and parents have been asked to sign an athlete/parent expectation form this outlines exactly what is expected of them. Following these guidelines will produce outstanding individuals that the community can be proud of. By following the goals that have been placed on the athletes, these athletes can become whatever they may wish both within the classroom and in the community.
