Mr. John Dunbar serves as the Chief Information Officer and a Vice President at Atlantic American Corp. Mr. Dunbar is responsible for setting the information technology vision for Atlantic American Corp, including the planning, development, implementation and management of all IT systems. He has more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in key leadership roles for multinational corporations. He served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT with Aquilex Corporation in Atlanta. Previously, he served with EMS Technologies, Inc. and BTG Americas, Inc. He served as the Chief Information Officer of Ems Technologies, Inc. since March 9, 2005. Mr. Dunbar was responsible for implementing a new Information Technology (IT) vision for EMS, including overseeing strategic planning, implementation and management of IT functions globally. He joined EMS in December 2003 as Director of IT, where he restructured the IT department for improved efficiency and effectiveness, led the creation of an IT Disaster Recovery Plan covering all its locations and established processes and controls for regulatory compliance as well as general IT best practices. He served as the Global IT Director for BTG, where he established Ems Technologies Inc., technology strategy to align with the business strategy as groundwork for continuous international expansion. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.

Mr. Jeffrey Ross Franklin has been Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Atlantic American Corporation since November 20, 2017. Mr. Franklin served as Interim Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of Atlantic American Corporation since August 1, 2017. He has over fifteen years of insurance industry experience in accounting and financial management positions. He is employed with Bankers Fidelity Assurance Company. Mr. Franklin has been employed by Atlantic American Corporation and its subsidiaries in various roles of increasing responsibility since 2000, most recently in his position as Vice President of Accounting and Treasurer of its Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company subsidiary since 2009. Mr. Franklin earned both a Master of Professional Accounting and Master in Business Administration degrees from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. John G. Sample, Jr., has been an Executive at Atlantic American Corporation since July 31, 2017 and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President since July 2002 until July 31, 2017. Mr. Sample served as Secretary of Atlantic American Corporation since May 2010 until July 31, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at subsidiaries of Atlantic American Corporation, of Georgia Casualty & Surety Co., Association Casualty Insurance Co., American Southern Insurance Company, Association Risk Management General Agency Inc., American Safety Insurance Company and Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Co. Prior to joining Atlantic American Corp. in July 2002, he was a Partner of Arthur Andersen LLP since 1990. He has been an Independent Director at 1st Franklin Financial Corporation since 2004. He has been Independent Director at Capital City Bank Group Inc since January 1, 2016. Mr. Sample serves as a Director of Association Casualty Insurance Company, Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company, Georgia Casualty and Association Risk Management General Agency Inc.

Mr. Robert S. Hines, also known as Bob, has been the President of Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company at Atlantic American Corporation since May 20, 2015. Mr. Hines has over 25 years of experience in the life insurance industry. He served as Vice President and an Executive Vice President of Bankers Fidelity for 20 years. To compliment his extensive industry experience, Mr. Hines has a BS in Business Management and Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Shorter University in Rome, GA.

Joseph Scheerer serves as the Director of Atlantic American. Joseph started at Atlantic American in December of 2014. Joseph currently resides in Greater New York City Area.
