I liked the people at Binance US, but the leadership team was inconsistent and incompetent. I felt that the leadership was always confused and misguided. It was probably because CZ was telling the executive team what to do. Also, the real issue was legal around insider trading and how it was handled
The truth is Binance US should be completely shut down. The victims are the investors and all the people who believed in democratizing crypto. It was like a roller coaster and no real leadership from the executive team. The problem was the executive staff was based in APAC and some in the US. They often would try to find a way to govern Binance US and pretend they were their own entity. It was a game of cat and mouse with the SEC!!?
